RTI Week

13th November 2010

The RTI Week kick-started with a joint meeting with our Ladies Circle # 17 at Mozzarella Restaurant, followed by fun and fellowship! The highlight of the meeting was the induction (rather re-induction) of Nanik into the Table.
We had good attendance with Twinklers also joining in.

14th November 2010
Children’s Day! We participated in the Mini Olympics hosted by HRT-8 at Chacha Nehru Park. The kids had lot of fun…

15th November 2010

We successfully conducted an Eye Check Up Camp along with Ladies Circle # 17 and in association with Lions Eye Institute.
Today, about 400 children and 15 teaching staff had their eyes checked.
We also distributed snack packets to the 400 children on the occasion of Children’s Day!

16th November 2010

Day 2 of the Eye Check Up Camp continues… Today about 200 Primary School children underwent eye checks and all of them were treated with snack packets too!
Then we went on to Nirmala Niketan Shishu Bhavan and distributed snack packets for the under privileged children there.
Later in the evening, some more snack boxes were distributed among the needy near the Cancer Hospital at Jubilee Hills.

17th November 2010

Donated Rice, Dall and Sugar for the benefit of the inmates of Nirmala Niketan Shishu Bhavan.
This took care of the dinner for the children at the Center.

18th November 2010

SRT 33 celebrated 41ers Nite!!!
Palace Heights was the venue for the fellowship event in honour of our 41ers. We had a good turn out among the 41ers and the young Tablers had the opportunity interact with the Seniors – who in turn missed no chance to impart their wisdom to them and all of us were transported to a trip down memory lane with them.
We also celebrated the anniversary of Bala Bhanu & Rama tonight.
Indeed, an evening which would be remembered for a long time to come.

19th November 2010

Guzaarish movie show saw the culmination of the RTI Week.
However the movie, all of us had a good time!!!  

Thanks to all the Tablers, Circlers, Twinklers and Square Legs for making this RTI Week a success!

cards Party-Piyush/Garima

Its raining card parties in 33!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fantastic fun at Garima/Piyush house - only we dont know whether their neighbors will allow him to have any more parties in his building anymore.....The NOISE level (just like the fellowship and fun level) was AMAZING!!!!!!!!!! ......the amount of snacks and food the hosts are providing - most people are having 2 dinners everyday!!!!!!!

There was Tanu (her first outing of the card party season) giving bad-dua to Sanjay and Anand - the kind they Rajat gets everyday and they both (Anand and Sanjay) would like to get everyday :) And Ranu talking about BUSTS - and that at 32

Sanjeev finally got the directions of the house and reached on time and the moment Umesh joined a table Viveik - 2 left it :) And nanek was behaving like the senoir tabler he almost is!!!!!!!!!!

It had all the twists and turns of a Rajni potboiler and everyone had fun - Nitin has just reached there and hope he is enjoying too!!!!!!!!!!

Cards Party @ Vineet-Shivanis House

It was indeed a fantastic show at Vineet and Shivanis House .

The concept of a post dinner activity was redefined - with a spread which would have lasted till breakfast if people didnt leave early due to a working day today.

The variations of Umesh and Sanjay sometimes had people hoping for their laptops at times and the way Ranu and Rama were minting money we can be sure their hubbies will try and withhold their stipend for the month. :)

Its Pure Gambling Time in 33

A weekend at Trails

It was really a different and enjoyable weekend - at Trails.

Would like to thank Manoj for organising the snacks (they were more than plentiful). A special thanks is due to Srikant (tho he promised to come in the morning and ditched as usual) for coordinating with the camp and getting us the deal.

We really had a lot of fun right from the word GO at Chutneys. The last 1.7 km drive was just the beginning of the adventure with lot of people learning how to drive on dirt tracks.

Lizard found roaming freely there :-)
The first afternoon/evening was made more beautiful with the rain coming down and a bit dangerous by the mention of snakes and lizards. :) The tents were spic and span tho.

The evening started with drinks (special thanks to Ajit for organizing so much ice and beer at a very short notice) and children playing various games coordinated by Sunita. They really had a ball!!!! The evening finally finished at 3AM with lots of singins and people reading out Manoj special SMS jokes in various interesting accents.

It was an early morning at 6.30 leaving for the jungle trek where the weight of the footwear doubled and leading to muscle building in the calf area. Amit had an interesting meeting with a couple of bats and an ancient cave before we descended on the breakfast.

The outdoor activities after that were really enjoyed by all present there and the highlight of the morning were the amazing splits performed by Ajit on one of the rides. :)

It was really a different side of Ajit we all saw on this trip and it was lots of fun!!!!!

The flying fox was the highlight of the morning with lots of people managing to coax them into giving us one extra ride.

People left a various times right from the night to the afternoon but I am sure all had tons of fun. Everyone please upload the pics at our blog.

Special mention of Sreekanth and Pavni who made it for the evening despite Nadella having an early morning flight to catch.
Of Suresh for braving the outdoors alone with Tigey
Of Sanjeev and Nalini for being the sports they always are
Of Amit and Garima for trying out all the activities sportingly - the scream which Garima let out on spying a dragon fly put a chill in every bone and will be remembered for long
Of Sanjay and Nidhi for changing rooms for the most number of times in a day
Of Ajit and Neelu for getting us all the stuff in the evening and for the songs and entertainment
Of Manoj and Nain for all the help with the snacks and all
Of Anand and Ranu who promised to come and then backed out based on a phone call :)
Of Umesh who was so concerned about us that he was trying to get minute by minute updates from the Chairman
Of Pramod who seems to have decided to enjoy club activities only on mails this year
And specially of all the children - for enjoying themselves thoroughly and bringing a smile on all our faces.
And for all those who missed out - just like the Pub night we will have a repeat of this also sometime later in the year.

Kireet's 40th!!!

Kireet brought in 40th in style at the Sailing Club on the 23rd evening. These are a few of the pics we managed to click under "strict restrictions and supervision"! :)
Calm, casual, laid-back evening... with liquor in full flow and snacks to follow (in excess, at one point of time).
Finally the club officials had to push out the sozzled host and a CA so they could down their shutters!!!
Overall, good fun, with Sunita being the perfect hostess!!!
CONGRATS KIREET ON TURNING FARTY!!!
